It didn't work too well, because every 15-30 minutes it would tell me the gateway can't contact the service provider to make an internet connection. After dealing with that for a month and deciding it didn't cut it, I got a Linksys adapter (again, USB) and the problem disappeared. Now, I got a new desktop with internal wireless, and the same problem is happening. So my question is: What can I do to fix this? Thanks Okay, I do have filters installed, and the lights do go out, but it's not just a problem with the gateway. I KNOW this because the problem only occurs when I'm using specific wireless adapters. To illustrate: Time using my Linksys USB adapter- Hours... and hours... and hours... Number of times it's happened- 0. Time using my new desktop with internal PCI wireless- About a week. Number of times it's happened- Roughly 100. This leads me to believe that although my router has a problem, there is much more to it than that. And I cannot currently connect it with an ethernet cable.... Read More »
