We purchased the HughesNet Internet service, and it is probably the biggest rip off of the century. We pay substantially more than DSL, about 60$ a month, for below 1.5 MBPS, I have a ping of about 900 on this connection, according to a speed test. A 40MB download takes 30 minutes to complete. But also I game often. I live near town and the international Airport, They have internet, I receive internet on my phone and I have practically full bars at times. But I live in a sort of, valley, or pit. Houses just above me out of the valley receive internet. How can I get into this internet? Perhaps an Antenna? I also have DSL at a family member's house and agreed that if we could somehow communicate the internet to my house we would do so, perhaps we could use antennas.
